Winter came fast and snow covered announcing the approach of the Christ’s birthday.
In that day’s afternoon, the Imam sent after me and told me: “It is the Christ’s birthday, and our neighbours are annoyed due to large number of people coming here, and they are not accustomed to such noise, how nice it would be to buy a present for each of these homes and apologize to them on my behalf.”
Sayyed (Ahmed Khomeini), the son of the Imam, along with some Iranians who speak French, distributed flowers and sweats on each and every neighboring house.
The following morning, I opened the door to the courtyard and I saw it was full of reporters, each one of them was carrying his camera, and they all gathered in a way that alarmed me; oh my God, what is going on?
Peace be upon Khomeini
The word of the presents sent by Imam (Khomeini) to his neighbours spread, and reporters from different foreign agencies came in large numbers to ask: Does (Khomeini) celebrate the birth of Christ?
And they insisted on making interviews with him.
What did you do to make the whole world from nations to great powers stand against you, and thus you are left with no friendly nation?
Why did that happen?
Because nations don’t abandon their greed, and Iran possesses lots of riches, and greedy groups went for it from everywhere.
When I say that we want these riches to be only ours, it is natural that they rush to oppose us.
And those who opposed us are known to be: The American administration that wants to take over our oil for free, the Soviet Union government that wants to seize our gas and the British government that wants to take them both.

This contributed in spreading the name (Ayatollah Khomeini) in the world, and identify him as an exiled leader, opposed to the Shah (of Iran).
