4 Things Productive People NEVER Do

4 Things Productive People NEVER Do

Productivity is not merely doing more. Productivity is related what you don't do rather than what you do.

4 productive don'ts;

Never stop leaning. Learn everyday and improve through consuming knowledge. Use more and more audio books.

1) Focusing on Work Hard; A young man went to the lake for fishing in the morning and returned in the evening without any luck and enjoyed food with his young wife. Next day again and next day again. Next to him he saw an old man fishing who spent the whole night there in very cold weather. On asking, how he made it possible to stay too long there for fishing. The old man routed the young man following him to his old home where his old wife was laying in the bed. He told his wife; I stayed away for two days but I brought enough fish for our next two days.

Working hard for the sake of look like working hard means nothing. This is ACTION FAKING. Working hard for we need to work hard is the right approach. We pretend to look like working hard, not actually work hard. Hustle for the sake of hustle means nothing. Have to make hustle is different and right approach.

To get ahead you have to hustle.

Super productive people let other people be hard working and productive. Each person is rated by an average of 11 other people, including peers, subordinates, and others in close circle.

a) Set your goal b) Figure out 'How' c) Work hard

2) Never Wander Aimlessly

Productivity is relative. Video game is productive if played for relaxation. Following crowd (herd). Reading bestseller book. [The score takes care of itself] Bill, the coach, trained his team focusing on few things; focus on positioning, how they were passing the ball, the way they communicate with each other.

3) Don't look at the score. Focus on the steps. Focus on the process. You can control the process. You cannot directly control the outcome.

Same is for youtube. If you put more and more valuable stuff, you will get more viewers.

If studying, find better ways to understand your field. Grades will follow.

4) Don't say 'Yes' all the time

Only YOU can value your time. No one else. Other people will follow you. You have to choose Activity A or B. You can't work on both. If you say 'YES' to many things. Your focus will become divided.

i) Life is a gift with an expiry date. Wasted time will never come back.

Saying 'NO' is difficult but wasting time is more difficult.

ii) Come up with default replies; use copy and paste in emails and save your time for necessary things to do.
